Tania Saleh

Tania Saleh's concert comes as her most recent album, Shwayet Sowar (A Few Images), is released in Egypt.
On her website Saleh comments on the album: "Arab men might be at war but Arab women are at peace. A woman in this part of the world is hard working, full of hope, love and positive energy. This album is dedicated to her."
Well-known to Middle East and North Africa audiences, the Lebanese singer began her career in the 1990s and since then she has released several albums.
Saleh has a long CV of collaborations with international and regional artists, among the most notable names being Ziad Raghbani.
Last time Saleh performed in Egypt was in June 2014 at El-Genaina Theatre.
She now returns to give two concerts, one at MUST Opera House in Cairo and the second one in Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Saleh will be joined by a number of Egypt-based musicians: Andrea Segon on bass guitar, Ayman Sedky on percussion, Hesham Galal on piano, Jan Abadear on cello, Lety El-Naggar on saxophone, Mohamed Raafat on drums, Nancy Mounir on violin and Sherif Alaa.
